Tasks + Responsibilities:

  • Modularizing environment assets into repeatable sections determined by the gameplay metrics.
  • Designing the variation of poses that are visually intuitive and distinct, and physically comfortable for the player.
  • Designing the scene lighting to visually highlight the play zone.
  • Managing the art direction to be consistent with the project vision.
  • Communicating with the team members on an hourly basis to expediate iteration cycles.

Overview

A pose-based game on the Microsoft Kinect platform, synchronizing the body gesture of the guest with a virtual avatar of a gingerbread man.
