Tasks + Responsibilities:

  • Designing the level layouts around key compositions to accommodate combat beats, flow, and different play styles (stealth and run-and-gun).
  • Greyboxing the level geometry using the Unity engine.

For my ongoing independent study course at the Entertainment Technology Center, I have designed a series of speculative combat levels for the much-acclaimed game Last of Us by Naughty Dog.

Over the duration of 2 days, I’ve designed 3 combat spaces that differs in layout, player flow, and gameplay pacing.
